According to Zhongxin.com, at 23:21 on October 17th, Beijing time, China used the Long March 3B carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the communication technology test satellite No. 4, and the satellite went smoothly. Entering the scheduled track, the mission is a complete success.

It is reported that the Communication Technology Test Satellite No. 4 is mainly used for verification of multi-band and high-rate satellite communication technologies.

The Long March 3B carrier rocket and communication technology test satellite No. 4 were developed by China Academy of Rocket Technology and China Academy of Space Technology. The mission was the 315th space flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
