The successful assessment of the new rocket engine test bed will help the research and development of the new 120-ton class in china
According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Sixth Academy, on July 6, the test run of the new liquid oxygen kerosene engine test bench developed by the Sixth Academy was a complete success in the Sixth Academy's 165 Academy. This test bed can be used to test 120-ton engines. After it is put into production, it will greatly improve the development and test capabilities of my country's 120-ton liquid oxygen kerosene high-pressure afterburning engines.
It can be seen from the figure that this test bed is built in the valley, which is beneficial to shielding noise and reducing the impact on the outside world. During the test run, a large amount of water vapor was ejected from the special outlet, and the fire inside the test bench was faintly visible.
The 120-ton engine series will be used in the take-off stage of a new generation of liquid carrier rockets. Officials said that with the further implementation of my country's manned spaceflight, lunar exploration and other large space projects, as well as the development of commercial spaceflight, the demand for a new generation of liquid carrier rockets and their engines is increasing. The success of this test run provides a strong guarantee for the engineering application of the engine and further meets the needs of my country's next-generation launch vehicle follow-up missions.
